Custom Order and Print Your Art Guidelines, Terms and Conditions

Lavalune will strive to meet your custom apparel needs, whether it is simply a different color or style that you want or a logo/graphic that you need printed for your organization, company, or school. We also offer volume discounts. For custom dancewear manufacturing, it would be best to contact us directly at info@lavalune.com or 817-657-7900 to discuss details. For custom screenprinting (non-dancewear), we prefer that you submit your request for a custom quote via the Request Quote link on the home page (left bar). You will be contacted to discuss options, if necessary, and receive a free quote for screenprinting. Instructions and steps for submitting a logo are detailed below under Print Your Art (for screenprints). The timing of custom orders can vary, but we strive to ship within 2 weeks from the time of your purchase.

Important note: All custom screenprint orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. Restrictions on graphics apply. (See detail in the Print Your Art section below.)

Print Your Art

This is your chance to customize your own dance, yoga or fitness-wear with your personalized graphic art that you find most inspiring. Please read about the 2 types of printing. Then follow the steps below to request a quote for your Print Your Art order.

Digital Print: Prints directly from a variety of file types including .jpg, .tiff, .png, graphic software files, and digital photos. See graphics restrictions below. Digital prints are more affordable for those who are ordering just one item or up to 12 items with the print. Digital prints look best on white or light-colored garments. It is critical to adhere to washing the garment inside-out and lay flat to dry for best results.

Screenprint: Higher-quality print that looks great on any color garment and wears well over time. The graphic art used must be in vector format (preferably Adobe Illustrator) with colors separated. Due to screenprint setup fees, it’s normally most economical to choose screenprinting if you will be printing more than 12 items with the same graphic(simple design). Complex graphics and multiple colors will cost more.

GRAPHICS RESTRICTIONS: Your graphic needs to be originally created by you or you must have written permission to use/print the graphic, art, or photo. You can not submit any copyrighted, trademarked or registered marked graphics for printing without written permission from the owner of those works. Also, professional photos are copyrighted and off-limits unless you have written permission to use/print.You can't use images of celebrities or corporate products, nor images, text, or design that you've copied from a website or from online “T-shirt printing” stores without written permission from the owner. You also cannot contribute a quote or a slogan that is substantially the same as something already written by someone else or incorporate images or names that would violate a person's right of privacy. You understand that you are solely responsible and liable for any lawsuits and financial compensation that may arise regarding any infringement to a copyright, trademark, or similar ownership. Also note that Lavalune will not process an order if the graphic is deemed offensive or inappropriate. Determination of that is up to the discretion of the company. See the More Legal text below.

For digital prints, your graphics should be in high resolution (ideally over 150dpi) if possible, in order to allow for some flexibility in modifying physical size and placement for the most ideal garment print. Please design and submit your graphic in the approximate physical size that you want it to print on the garment to avoid blurry pixilation of the print or distortion. Graphics that need to be enlarged significantly will show the pixels (circles) and print blurry.

Maximum size of print area: approx. 10x10 in. for shirts and 16x4 in. for pants; Children’s apparel print area will be smaller.

Print Your Art steps:

1) Click the Print Your Art link on the homepage, and provide the requested data. Once you get your confirmation #, e-mail the graphic art to info@lavalune.com with the confirmation# and last name in the subject line.

2) You will be sent a virtual mock-up along with the estimated cost of your custom Print Your Art order. Please reply if the proof does not reflect the desired positioning of your graphic (e.g. you want the graphic only in the upper right of the shirt, not the center).

A custom invoice will be created with your name (First initial and Last name) and placed on the website at www.lavalune.com under the Custom Invoice link for 7 days. Your graphic will not appear on the site. The price quote given includes the garment and the print.

3) To purchase your Print Your Art order, go to the website www.lavalune.com . Click Custom Invoice on the left bar. Find the item with your name (First initial and Last name) and click the Add to Cart button. Follow the steps to purchase.

4) Generally, Print Your Art orders will take about 2 weeks to ship from the time you purchase online (not from the time you first submit your request for quote). The time-frame for these orders are dependent on processing, printing capacity and scheduling. Important note: All Print Your Art orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
